It's already the third month of the New Year and already we are only one month away from the start of the new fiscal or financial year. The annual budgets and financial forecasts for the coming year being refreshed in the season of Spring. This makes perfect sense as it is the usual case that annums have cycles that are based on repetition. Still there are many things that have been happening in the Finance sector that really ought to change and not repeat.
Some of these issues will be highlighted by me Ms MAE on this Blog entitled "Money Matters".. where I will voice my concerns and observations. Well one thing I'm certain of is that it's not only me that find the lines at the Scotiabank ATM tedious at best. And completely infuriating at the busiest times when lines are long and the progress is so slow…
After the recent "improvements" the new machines are slower to process transactions than the previous type. Then they also stopped completely issuing $100 notes and most machines don't give $500 either. No notification seems to have been given to ABM users when this change was made, they simply phased out the issuing of smaller notes.
But suppose a client only wants to withdraw exactly $3500 or $5700 or $15300 and they don't want to withdraw $16000 because they have funds for whatever, or a specific purchase. It seems suddenly this ATM system is only supporting the withdrawal of round or whole numbers?
